L'Iran va lancer lundi prochain une nouvelle chaîne TV en anglais fonctionnant 24h sur 24 pour contrer les informations des chaînes internationales jugées souvent biaisées.


L'Iran est sur le point de lancer sa nouvelle chaîne internationale PRESS TV, un TV d'informations satellitaire pour rivaliser avec les TV occidentales du même type telle BBC World, CNN... Basée à Téhéran, PRESS TV dont le personnel sera à la fois iranien et étranger, doit commencer à émettre lundi et cherchera à entrer en compétition avec BBC World et CNN selon le chef du programme live Nader Rad. L'année dernière Al Jazeera, la chaîne arabe basée au Qatar a, elle aussi, lancé sa version internationale anglaise et la France a récemment lancer une chaîne internationale en français, France 24.


« Les informations reçoivent une couverture médiatique en provenance principalement des médias occidentaux qui habituellement ne couvrent pas toute l'histoire... Les informations sur l'Irak n'offrent pas toutes les perspectives. C'est la même chose pour les informations sur la Palestine et Beyrouth. »

Selon Rad, des anglais et américains font partie du personnel de la nouvelle TV certains basés à Téhéran. PRESS TV a des journalistes à Washington, Londres, Beyrouth et Damas et projette d'avoir du personnel à Bagdad et au Caire.

Le site de PRESS TV affirme que l'un de objectifs c'est de « briser l'étranglement des médias mondiaux par des contenus occidentaux ». Il dit aussi que la chaîne veut « jeter un pont sur les divisions culturelles ».

L'Iran possède deux chaînes satellitaires étatiques l'une en arabe Al-Alam et l'autre en perse Jaam-e Jam. Les paraboles sont en principe interdites en Iran mais en pratique les toits de Téhéran et d'ailleurs en sont couverts.

Selon Rad, la chaîne offrira des informations mais aussi des documentaires, dont certains achetés à l'étranger, des débats avec des personnalités connues. PRESS TV appartient à l'état mais ce n'est pas lui qui va géré la chaîne ni imposer ses directives selon Rad qui n'a pas fourni plus de renseignement sur la ligne éditoriale.

Statement: Ayatollah Lankarani Returns to His Lord

Verily we are from Allah and to Him do we return. It is with deep sadness and grief that the AhlulBayt Islamic Mission offers its condolences to the Imam of our time and the Ummah at large on the demise of His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Fadhel Lankarani (may Allah elevate his status).

The grand Ayatollah, who had millions of followers inside and outside Iran, recently moved to Tehran from the holy city of Qom to receive medical treatment but after his treatment proved unsatisfactory and his general health conditions deteriorated, he sadly departed from this world on Saturday 16th June 2007.

Ayatollah Lankarani was born in 1931 in the holy city of Qom. At the age of 19, he started attending lessons in Fiqh (Jurisprudence) and Usul (Principles of Jurisprudence) at the highest level of Islamic studies, which were being taught by the late Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Hussein Burujerdi (may Allah elevate his status). Due to his academic excellence, perseverance and ability, he was able to attain the level of Ijithad at the early age of 25; a rank that his eminent teacher, the late Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Hussein Burujerdi gave to him in writing.

For many years now, he had been an unparalleled source of knowledge and piety for the Islamic seminary in Qom and its students; teaching lessons at the highest level for the past 25 years, thereby training scholars of the highest calibre for future generations.

In addition to his academic expertise, the Late Ayatollah Lankarani was one of the key components of the Islamic revolution in Iran. From the beginning of the political and social struggle led by Imam Khomeini (may Allah elevate his status) against oppression and corruption in Iran, at its helm the tyrannical regime of the Pahlavi dynasty, the late Ayatollah remained a steadfast supporter of Imam Khomeini eventually leading to his banishment to Bandar Lange and thereafter to Yazd.

In His Name the Most High

Today the Al-Askari Shrine revered by Shia Muslims was targeted once again destroying its' remaining minarets and threatening to send the Iraqi nation ever closer to a civil war. This attack re-emphasizes the need to take real steps towards building a sovereign Iraqi state; representative of its' people and protective of their interests and holy places; and for an immediate end to the occupation.

Only two days ago, Ayatollah Sistani praised and offered his full support to the Shia initiative to bridge relations with Sunni groups in an attempt to bring about national unity and reconciliation. Both Shia and Sunni leaders in Iraq have been strongly determined in their efforts to unveil the vicious and obscure mask of sectarian violence that has devastated Iraq since the US-led forces toppled the Saddam regime in 2003.

What we are witnessing today is an attempt to derail the new political efforts for unity amongst Iraqis by forces wishing for Iraq to remain in its state of despair; in turn prolonging the Occupation in Iraq.

The on-going Occupation of Iraq, the result of an illegal and unjust invasion, through its unilateral outset and total lack of planning determined that such an occupation heralded no benefit for the Iraqi people or consideration of their heritage. The presence of occupation forces, far from providing security to Iraqis and aiding the stability of Iraq, foments political tension, consequently rendering any efforts to realise a united Iraq futile. The division of Iraq along sectarian lines is the root cause of turning to violence for political ends.

AIM is determined in its' efforts to promote unity in Iraq and elsewhere. At this fragile moment, AIM continues to closely monitor the situation in Iraq with the knowledge that the outcomes of such attacks stretch far beyond Iraq.

We pray that Allah safeguards this Ummah from these evil plots and we pay our condolences to the Imam of our time during this sad state of affairs.

Nous avons appris avec consternation le décès subit de notre principale collaboratrice au Congo, Madame feu Mariam Mukanda, à la suite d'une crise cardiaque. Qu'Allah la couvre de Sa large Miséricorde et qu'Il le fasse habiter dans Ses vastes Jardins, aux côtés ses saints maîtres, les Ahl-ul-Bayt (p). En présentant nos sincères condoléances à tous les memebres de sa famille, notamment ses deux chères filles et associées (dans son œuvre pieuse) Fatima Dodo et Rima Falanga, nous prions Allah de les armer de patience et d'endurance face à cette terrible épreuve, de leur offrir la meilleure consolation et de leur prêter longue vie afin qu'ils poursuivent l'action de bienfaisance de leur chère défunt mère.

Madame Mariam Mukanda


Il a plu à Allah (S.W.T) de rappeler auprès de lui l'âme de sa dévouée servante Mariam Mukanda.

Née le 26 juin 1951 à Kinshasa/RDC, dans une famille mi-chrétienne, mi-musulmane Mariam Mukanda a opté pour l'islam après la conversion de ses enfants dans cette religion. Elle se disait qu'elle ne pouvait pas laisser ses enfants se diriger dans une religion qu'elle ne connaîssait pas très bien ; elle doit pour cela les encadrer si jamais ils sont dans l'erreur. Mais Allah avec son amour immense lui a fait découvrir qu'elle avait fait le bon choix. Après avoir approfondi sa connaissance de la religion musulmane, elle s'est orientée vers le chiisme, vers l'amour des Ahlul bayt (p).

Graduée en langue anglaise de « Kensington Institute of languages » de Londres, en Grande Bretagne, elle fut parmi les 10 premières interprètes Congolaises (Zaïroises à l'époque) attachée à la Présidence de la République du Zaïre. Après une carrière remarquable dans la diplomatie, elle a occupé des postes importants tel que : assistante du directeur général, directeur de cabinet du ministre de l'agriculture et pêche, 2éme conseiller d'ambassade du Zaïre à Bonn en Allemagne, conseillère du ministre de la santé et des affaires sociale chargée des études, présidente du conseil d'administration de l'espace femme ( association faîtière des réseaux des organisations féminines de la société civile), membre du comité exécutif de WOPPA (Women as Partners for peace in Africa), Directrice du secrétariat de l'histoire, Vice présidente nationale du comité national des Femmes musulmanes, experte en prévention, gestion et résolution des conflits auprès du comité préparatoire national de la conférence internationale sur les pays des grands lac, elle a représenté les femmes des pays des grands lac au sommet des chefs d'état de Dare el Salam en Tanzanie, elle a fait partie de plusieurs associations qui militent en faveur de la promotion de la femme.

Dans le souci de la promotion de la femme en général et de la femme musulmane en particulier, Mariam fut l'initiatrice et la présidente d'une organisation non gouvernementale « Organisation aide et Solidarité en islam » O.A.S.I.S qui encadre spécialement les veuves et les orphelins.

Promotrice d'une école primaire et secondaire « La pouponnière », elle donnait aux enfants nécessiteux, en particulier les enfants orphelins musulman la possibilité d'étudier soit gratuitement soit à un moindre prix.

Elle a participée a beaucoup d'émissions télévisée traitant sur la condition de la femme musulmane.

Mariam Mukanda fut une femme battante, elle fut présente dans la vie politique du Congo RDC, elle fut candidate députée nationale pendant la période électoral.

Décédée le 6 mai 2007, elle a fait plonger le monde musulman Congolais dans une douleur indescriptible.

Madame feu Mukanda s'occupait non seulement de la distribution des livres de la Cité du Savoir au Congo, mais elle avait aussi conçu le projet de traduire ces livres en tshiluba, l'une des 4 langues officielles de ce pays, afin de sensibiliser la plus grande partie possible de la population congolaise à la voie des Ahl-ul-Bayt. Elle a déjà traduit « La Rationalité de l'islam » en cette langue nationale.

C'est toute sa famille biologique, religieuse et politique qui la pleure des larmes de sang.

Allah avait donné, Allah a repris et toute louange lui revient.

Supreme Leader of the Islamic revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said here Friday unity and solidarity are the most important needs of today's Islamic world and a cure to all problems of Muslims, and Muslim Ulema and the intelligentsia should compile charter of Islamic solidarity as a historical necessity.

The Supreme leader was addressing high ranking officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran and ambassadors of Islamic countries on the auspicious occasion of birth anniversaries of holy Prophet Muhammad and Imam Sadeq.

Ayatollah Khamenei said human beings are indebted to the Great Prophet for his blessings and compassion adding that his teachings are the only way to salvation and the realization of justice and other lofty human values.

The Ayatollah said," Islamic Ummah, after years of ignorance, is having a new look at sharia and the Islamic faith. Therefore, the Islamic world, with this new insight and understanding and with resorting to religious teachings and the deeds and words of the Great Prophet, can be the forerunner in moving towards perfection and elevation."
Ayatollah Khamenei said Islamic vigilance and return to Islam, revival of the holy Quran and the creation of a united Ummah are among the facts of today's Muslim world, adding that these facts, which were once just faraway ideals among some elites and reformers in the Islamic world, have now turned into living mottos in the hands of Muslims masses and especially the youth and the educated.

The Supreme Leader said, "Along with the Islamic vigilance and the revival of descent Islamic mottos, the enmity of the world arrogance with Islam has been more organized and serious because Islamic vigilance is a great danger to the arrogant and hegemonic powers of the world.

Ayatollah Khamenei said," Bringing up issues such as Crusade, insulting the Great Prophet of Islam and presenting a violent image of the Muslims are organized plots to stand against Islamic identity," adding," contrary to materialistic calculations and media propaganda, the apparently powerful side of arrogance has been defeated by the grand Islamic movement."
The Supreme Leader of the Islamic revolution referred to the defeat of US plans in the Middle East, especially in Palestine, Iraq and Lebanon as the clear manifestations of this fact and said those who stress on being realistic in dealing with problems, should consider these undeniable facts and truths.

The Ayatollah went on to say, "One of the most important requirements for the continuation of the deep movement of Islamic Ummah towards victory is Islamic unity and solidarity," adding," the policy of the arrogant world is causing discord, ethnic and religious fighting among Muslims."
The Ayatollah said unity and solidarity among Islamic Ummah should be strengthened to stand against the enemies' conspiracies.

Ayatollah Khamenei said," misunderstanding, baseless illusions and being ignorant of the real ideas of each other are among the main obstacles to unity," adding, " the Islamic governments and Muslim Ulema should play their role in paving the way for Islamic unity and solidarity."
"In this regard, compiling the charter of Islamic unity by the Muslim Ulema is a historical necessity. An obligation that if we do not fulfill today, the next generations will hold us accountable." The leader said," the world arrogance makes no distinction between Shia and Sunni Muslims in its fighting against the Muslim world," adding, "While they attack both Hamas and Lebanese Hizbollah, is it wise for the Muslims to get involved in religious and ethnic fightings and forget their common enemy?"
Ayatollah Khamenei said the Islamic world unity is in favor of Islamic nations and governments and these governments should get closer to each other. "If they rely on their nations' capacities instead of relying on American politicians, they will be much stronger," the Ayatollah underlined.

Before the supreme leader's speech, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad congratulated the birth anniversaries of the holy prophet and Imam Sadeq (PBUT).
